q30 honoured for stamp design

Pick up a copy of the July/August 2011 issue of Design Edge magazine and turn to page 40. There you will see q30 among the finalists for the Regional Design Awards Annual.

q30 was honoured for its design of a stamp for Canada Post that commemorates diplomatic relations between Canada and Israel. Through illustration, q30 was able to communicate the rich topic of diplomacy between two nations. Human figures form the shapes of Canada’s Maple Leaf and Israel’s Star of David. These “people” come together to meet in the middle, a meeting that symbolizes and celebrates 60 years of friendship.
